What Message Are You Sending?
As a principal, people will be looking to you for guidance and leadership. Your people, especially during a time of crisis will want reassurance and hope. They will want to hear something, anything to get a sense that things will be back to normal or that there is a light at the end to the tunnel.

In any message you deliver - because you will have to deliver many messages - always remember to speak with purpose and conviction. If you have nothing to say at the moment - don't speak and let someone else chime in.
You do not need to fill every silence to appease. Sometimes, the less you say, the better. Silence is a gift that allows self-reflection.
