As principals, whether we like it or not, we set the tone in our school.
If the leader is inspired, energized and optimistic, the staff will absorb those high vibes and respond accordingly. However, if the leader sees her work through a top-down, bureaucratic, transactional lens, this too will be reflected in the school's culture.
